Pastel painting is my respite. I'm a full-time caregiver for my husband, a 100% disabled veteran, and the studio is the place I go to find light on the heavy days. It keeps me grounded. It reminds me there is always something worth looking at.
I love change and embrace new ideas. A gypsy at heart, easily bored — fortunately, I've done many things and been many places. That restlessness is part of what I paint. Each piece is a memory of somewhere, something, someone that stopped me in my tracks.
My gifts are creativity and curiosity, expressed in my art. I seek playfulness, beauty and happiness. I make memories — a flamboyant hodgepodge of moments in celebration of life. I am a believer. Life is good.
Be patient with me, and I will tell you what I know as soon as I figure it out.
